Do I need to carry my own Insurance?
We can provide liability coverage up to $1,000,000.00 on all rentals for $18.95 per day (SLI) or up to California statutory limits of $15,000/$30,000/$5,000 for $9.95 per day (RLP). On rentals of vehicles worth $35,000 or more, the renter must carry their own collision and comprehensive insurance. Some credit cards cover this exposure but most do not cover more expensive vehicles, 15-passenger vans, and sport utility vehicles. In most cases we can provide collision and comprehensive coverage for U.S. non-residents.

Do you ever discount your rates?
If we still have availability on a certain vehicle 48 hours in advance of pickup we may be able to offer a discount. Please visit the Internet Specials link for more information.  Any special rates must be transacted over the Internet.

Do your vehicles have GPS navigation devices?
Some of our vehicles are equipped with these devices. For those that are not we can offer a portable device for an extra charge.. Please inquire regarding pricing and availability.

Do you offer ski racks, baby seats and DVD players?

Please tell us a little bit about yourselves?
We are a division of a licensee of one of the world's leading car rental companies. We operate this separate website to highlight our specialty vehicles. We currently operate in California only. We have been in business since 1987 and currently operate approximately 1000 vehicles throughout California. We are proud to service a wide range of demanding customers including some of the most luxurious hotels in California.

What is your cancellation policy?
We request that you cancel your reservation 72 hours in advance or you are subject to charge for one day of your rental or $100, whichever is greater.

Do you have other cars than those mentioned on your website?
In our effort to keep an exciting and fresh fleet of vehicles we add and remove cars continuously and update our site as these changes happen. If you are interested in a specific vehicle that's not listed we may have plans to add it shortly. Feel free to email us with your inquiry.

What are the additional charges?
The website has been designed to give you the total price including sales tax for the dates and times selected.  Regarding fuel - you have the option to pre-purchase a full tank of gas at competitive prices and return the car empty or to refill the tank yourself. If you choose to refill the tank yourself and don't bring it back full we charge you a per gallon refueling fee. 

Can I have additional drivers on my rental contract?
As long as they meet the normal rental requirements there is no additional charge. A under-age fee applies to drivers between 21 and 24 years old. Additional drivers need to physically come to one of our offices and be added to the contract.

If my driver's license is from outside the U.S. do I need an international license?
As long as Roman or Latin alphabet is used on your license an international license is not necessary.

How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
We have a limited availability of specific models. The sooner you can make a reservation the sooner we can confirm a specific model and guarantee a specific price.

Why have I not had a reply to my email or reservation request?
We occasionally get e-mail from addresses that we cannot reply to. If you have not heard from us within a reasonable amount of time please follow-up with an email and ideally supply an alternative address.

How are the rentals priced?
A rental day is 24 hours. The vehicle is due back at the same time that it was picked up. We do offer a 59 minute grace period before further charges accrue.

Am I guaranteed a specific vehicle?
A reservation is not confirmed until you have received a 9-digit confirmation from us.  Once you have a confirmation we will do our best to provide you with the vehicle you have requested.  Occasionally due to unforeseen circumstances the vehicle that we have confirmed becomes unavailable.  If this should happen we will contact you and see if we have another car that will suit your needs.
   
What happens if I have any problems with the vehicle?
Contact the rental office or call 1-800-400-8412. We also offer 24-hour emergency roadside service at 1-800-367-6767.

When will my credit card be charged?
We ask for a credit card at time of reservation to guarantee the rental but nothing is charged unless the reservation is not cancelled within the specified cancellation policy. We will obtain a authorization on the card at the time of rental. The authorization amount depends on they type of vehicle and the length of rental. The charge is not actually processed until the car is returned.

Is a credit card required?
Yes. We can make an exception if you have a debit card with a bank logo and provide proof of insurance. This exception is only valid on the rental of compact through full-size and minivans. You must notify us when the reservation is made that you will be using a debit card.

What are your minimum age requirements?
All renters must be at least 21 years old; some vehicles require a minimum age of 25.
